Loch Ness Monster (Nessie)

Loch Ness Monster, sometimes called Nessie (Scottish Language: Niseag), is a mysterious and unidentified animal or group of animals, which is considered to inhabit a loch in Scotland, Loch Ness, the largest freshwater loch (by volume) in the United Kingdom . Nessie is usually categorized as a lake monster.
Along with Bigfoot and Yeti, Nessie is one very famous mysteries of cryptozoological. Most scientists and other experts find evidence supporting Nessie as not quite adequate and consider reports of sightings as hoaxes or misidentification. However, there are still many people who think animals really exist, with the most popular theory consider as a plesiosaur that lived in the lake loch ness.

Sightings

On 31 May 2007, Gordon Holmes said he had videotaped the Loch Ness monster which has been a puzzle because no one has managed to prove its existence. However, the most shocking is the photo that made by Dr. Robert Kenneth Wilson on 19 April 1934. This photo clearly showed the figure nessie. There nessie was seen protruding from the surface of the water to reveal the head and long neck. From the photograph, develops various guesses about what Nessie actually is. However, there is also the question whether Nessie really exist.

Controversy

People who doubt the existence of nessie, among others, Alastair Boyd and his friend David Martin. They both assume a fake Wilson photo. Martin managed to find evidence that Wilson photo actually just a joke.

After investigation, it turned out the photo was made by Duke Wetherell and his son Ian. Nessie photo that they were false. Monster was made by stepson named Duke Spurling.

Photo false nessie was handed Duke to his friend, Chambers. Dr. Duke asks Chambers persuaded. Wilson in order to sell it to the Daily Mail newspaper on behalf of Dr. Wilson. Duke Wetherell nessie photo accidentally put it to take revenge on the company's Daily Mail newspaper. The Daily Mail has written a story that makes Duke Wetherell shame.

In 1994, Martin was able to meet Spurling. Martin extract information and confessions Spurling heard about the photo. When met Martin, Spurling 93 years old and he feels guilty about lying to many people

Namun, ada juga yang meragukan apakah Nessie benar-benar ada.

Kontroversi

Orang-orang yang meragukan adanya nessie, antara lain, Alastair Boyd dan temannya David Martin. Mereka berdua menganggap foto Wilson palsu. Martin berhasil menemukan bukti bahwa foto Wilson sesungguhnya hanya lelucon saja.
Setelah diselidiki, foto itu ternyata dibuat oleh Duke Wetherell dan putranya Ian. Nessie yang mereka foto pun palsu. Monster itu dibuat oleh putra tiri Duke yang bernama Spurling.
Foto nessie palsu itu diserahkan Duke pada temannya, Chambers. Duke meminta Chambers membujuk Dr. Wilson agar menjualnya ke koran Daily Mail atas nama Dr. Wilson. Duke Wetherell sengaja memasukkan foto nessie itu untuk membalas dendam pada perusahaan koran Daily Mail. Koran Daily Mail telah menulis berita yang membuat Duke Wetherell malu.
Pada tahun 1994, Martin berhasil menemui Spurling. Martin mengorek keterangan dan mendengar pengakuan Spurling tentang foto itu. Saat ditemui Martin, Spurling sudah berumur 93 tahun dan dia merasa bersalah telah membohongi banyak orang
